inspiration ;)

when it comes to cook..
let's face this, i'm not that great at it.
though i think i might enjoy it..:)
what so good about cooking is that,,
after u went to all those troubles..
when seeing others eating what u cooked without a complain..
it makes your heart jumps with joy..v(^.^)v
victory!haha.
now, i can understand why is it that everytime i asked my mom..
"nape mama makan sikit sgt?"
and she will always answered.."mama dah kenyang dah.."
when instead she haven't ate a single thing before hand.
i think, maybe..just by seeing other people eat what u cooked..
makes all the efforts worth it..and you just don't feel that hungry anymore.
and,, my mom always..
asked me to finished up everything..[which i'm always happy to do]
so, i'll always be the last person on the table..
until the plate is super shiny..*bling2*
my sisters don't always eat a lot.
that's why they're like super skinny.ces.>_<
oh, do bear in mind though..this only happens at home. hehe.:P

so, what i really want to talk about is this new program in tv.
it's called "junior masterchef australia".
before this, they had the competition only for adults.
so, this time, it's for kids aged between 8-12 yrs old!
trust me, they're not ordinary kids..
they make pasta and everything else from scratch..pies, puddings, baklava,
sauces and some type of dishes i've never even heard of..
and to think that i can't even cook a sunny-sided egg perfectly.=_="
plus, with the time pressure,
and the judges n cameras keep coming to the tables to monitor them..
heh. how in the world they do it.

so, they are like my inspiration..
that i can also be a great cook! ahah :P
age and size doesn't matter!
aside from their cooking and skills..
i totally admired their confidence

if it's me, i'll definitely trembles and sweats a lot.
and most probably.. i'll punch the camera or something.
[like those paparazzi one.hehe]

interested? go to this website http://www.masterchef.com.au/home.htm
there's full episodes 1 & 2 for you to watch.
episode 3 just aired tonight, so they'll put it up soon ;)

[cute little cheflings..;)]

ohh, i'm bad at keeping things in order.
but, i like things in order.[ha,camne tuh..]
for instance, my study table [which i shared with sara.]
when i get all "semangat"..the table looks really neat..
but things get a bit messy when u know..assignments..tests..
[heh.xde assignment pun kdg2 sepah.konon cm rajin study la :P]

But, i will keep things in order..when i get the BOOST to keep things in order.
[not that BOOST juice,k! ;)]
so, how do i make sure i'll get my BOOST everyday?
hmm,,that's what i'm trying to figure out.
heh.
how i wish i could be like my mom.
always organised.
so, fairuz..stop being lazy..

"I promise!!" (^.^)v

tennis and me ^___^

oh, i love tennis.
cuz of them?

maybe..
but not entirely bcuz of them though :P
that pic was taken by someone during wimbledon open cuz they are wearing white..:)
you should watch this video promo by rolex for wimbledon cup on youtube.
the music is awesome. i love it.

i'm a fan of both of them. but mostly on nadal.ngeheh.
[actually, i don't really like guy with long hair.but nadal is an exception.haha.]
nadal is a left-handed player, though in real life he's actually a right-handed person.
he can only use his left-hand for tennis.unique huh?
currently nadal rank the no.1 player in the world, and he just won the US open.
federer is also a great player and my dad loves him.

it's always a good match to watch if it's between nadal n federer.
^_^
i started to watch tennis since i was a kid.
mostly because of my father. he loves to play tennis.
he taught me when i was young [uhh, terase tua] with my siblings.
and i still remembered that, whenever i hit the ball,
not only the ball will go flying..the racket will also be flying along with the ball.
hahah.
but, i didn't continue on playing when i grew older.
maybe because of me being away from home at my boarding school :(
however, we still watch some of the games together at home.

now, i took some tennis lessons at uni ;)
it was actually a suggestion by my brother.
and i love it! basically, there will be 10 lessons.
and guess what, our coach is a Malaysian guy.
it was fun!
today i went for the lesson. and we did a bit of rally at the beginning..
forehand, backhand..forehand, backhand..
i'm happy i can hit a few rallies.
although, my backhand was a bit off sometimes.
i'll keep working on it though.
then, we did a volley [yup, like those volleyball].
this is where we are standing quite close to the net
and we hit the ball before the ball hit the ground..
it's okay if you didn't understand though.ehheh.
then, we practised to do some serves..
i think i'm getting better at serving! :)
but i keep on tossing in the wrong direction..=_=
my left hand doesn't seems to coordinate very well.
and also, sean[the coach] said i didn't grip my racket very well.

i hope i can get better by the end of the 10 lessons.
maybe i can play like nadal..=_= heh.
my dad had promised to play with me when i go back home :)
and i also can't wait to have a match with my brother.ahah.

my dad wished to go to the Australian Open. but, it will be on January.
and we will be in Malaysia.
so, maybe another year?? Abah,,belanje me okay???!!
*batting eyelashes*
heheh.

hmm, that's all about tennis and me.
ciao! :P

of puase, raye and open houses

eyt, happy eid mubarak to u all!
Alhamdulillah, one month of fasting had gone by.
"Taqaballahu minna wa minkum"
Did we get something from Ramadhan? Ask yourself (:
to me, i think this is the BEST Ramadhan I had in my whole life.
why?
because, i had a better understanding of what Ramadhan really is.
now, i can only pray that all my deeds will be accepted by Allah..
and i also hope that i can experience another Ramadhan insyaAllah.

syawal's here!
a celebration of joy after a month of fasting.
first day of syawal..i was really excited to go for 'raya prayer' in the park..
however, Allah knows what best for His creature,,it was raining that morning.
so, we went for the prayer in RMIT.
After finished praying, the rain had stopped..
took some pictures..[of course,heh]
and went back home,,eat some more rendang, kuah kacang,
lodeh and nasi empet made by mazni's mom :)
then, head for class at uni. :P
it was a beautiful morning.not too hot or cold.
on that day itself, we got two open houses invitation!
u think our raya celebration will stop there?
no! the next day, FOUR more open houses..^___^
and the next day,,another one more open house.
wahh,,jealous?? ngeheh.
i think i ate more here than in Malaysia.=_=

and there's more open houses this weekend..
and i bet you there's more to come..
since it's spring break for melbourne uni next week!wee!!
wee again!!

ps:i desperately want a dslr.since my camera is a bit "weng" now.-_-
and the pictures i took are not pweety.*batting eyelashes*..
..[hoping for someone to fall for it and buy me a dslr.heh]

seeking

Let us seek for the Night..
The Night better than a THOUSAND night..
The Night where the angels and the spirit descend
by the permission of their Lord with His decree..
The Night of peace until the break of dawn..
[Al Qadr, 97:1-5]

Subhanallah..
I read about this one status in my friend's wall in FB,
"Kalau kite bersungguh2 sampai xtido malam tuk siapkan assignment..
knape kite xley wat yg same tuk beribadah??"

It hits me right in the middle of my heart.

Wondering..
Maybe..
because we are afraid that we'll get zero for our assignments?
and that it will affect our results?? etc,,

Here's the catch.

Won't we be evaluated too in the JUDGEMENT DAY?
Whether we've done what Allah has asked us to do..
and stay away from what He forbid us to do.
That's the most important trial in our whole life..
between Heaven or Hell?
Think.Think.Think.

Seeking for knowledge is one of thing Allah command us to do.
Balance is the keyword here.
To ensure that we can succeed in this life and the hereafter.
InsyaAllah, this will be a reminder for me too..:)

Peace! ^_^
